Embarking on a journey filled with diverse experiences, my professional trajectory took a pivotal turn after completing my undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering. Initial exposure to the corporate world in sales refined crucial business skills and interpersonal acumen, preparing me for client interactions and fostering my growth. During this period, a burgeoning interest in data and its possibilities started to take root.
Initiating self-learning in SQL, Python, and AWS marked the beginning of my venture into the realm of data. However, I recognized the need for structured learning under the guidance of qualified professionals. To achieve this, I strategically pursued my master's degree at the prestigious New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), serving as both a catalyst and a compass pointing me in the right direction.
My tenure at NJIT has been marked by impactful contributions to various projects. I delved into machine learning endeavors, such as the ASL interpretation project, and spearheaded a DBMS initiative for creating a universal athlete contract management system. Engaging in data mining and processing projects, including the IMDB Studio Analyst and Mining, further enriched my skill set.
Currently, I am working on my master's project in weather forecasting under the guidance of Professor Mengjia Xu.
Additionally, my keen interest in finance and policy formation has equipped me with a nuanced understanding of the underlying implications and effects. I am poised to contribute meaningfully to the intersection of data science, technology, and impactful decision-making.
